The Wish List Project is an all volunteer nonprofit organization fostering success in underserved youth and low income families. We believe all people can be successful in school and in life when they have opportunities to pursue their interests, and have the proper tools needed to achieve their goals. Our Student Enrichment Grants program funds extracurricular activities, youth development programs, and educational resources for students ages 5-22. Consideration is given to young people from low income families. Priority is given to foster youth, single parent families, homeless youth and people with disabilities. You can obtain funding guidelines and an application by clicking on the image above.
Since 2013, TWLP has provided many underserved youth and low income families with access to resources and opportunities they might not otherwise have. All our Student Ambassadors are residents of the four county area (Sacramento, Placer, Yolo and El Dorado). You can learn more about each one of our grant recipients here.
The number of grants funded and free programs provided is dependent on the financial support we receive from folks like you. Your gifts and in-kind donations make our important work possible. We also rely solely on a non-paid staff and board, so additional help from enthusiastic and giving volunteers is always appreciated, particularly during special events and fundraising periods.
